Palm Mar Roncadores

With the area of Palm Mar famous for its underwater rock formations it is no surprise that this dive site has a fascinating topography.

From a plateau we drop over into a horseshoe shaped structure where the discovery begins. Trumpet fish, moray eels and big eyes all take shelter within the rocks. There is a large shoal of roncadores floating effortlessly mid water here which makes for great photos. The shoal is quite mesmerizing as the individual fish suddenly change direction when startled or part to make way for a diver then re-form into their group. Usually overhead we find a smaller group of barracuda, waiting for an opportunity to pounce!

This is a gentle dive suitable for all levels with plenty of life.
